Telly I like
Mythbusters
They built a catapult by raising a whole crane up onto shipping crates. What's not to like?
Time shift
BBC4's cultural history strain. Nostalgia done right.
Channel 4 News
One of the better news show about. Strange to think that the same people produce ITV's News at 10.
Stargate SG1/Atlantis
Not as good as used to be, but I still like it. Most of the time.
The late edition
Otherwise known as the Marcus-Brigstoke-is-very-clever show. BBC4's weekly news review.
South Park
Not just about four children who swear all the time. Represents all that's wrong about the world.
Jonathan Creek
Not whodunnit, but howtheydunnit.

I would reply with "Telly I like" but, to be honest, most of the shows I like have ceased to be. They are no more. Berift of episodes they're repeated ad naseum. They've shuffled off this electronic coil and joined the local video library...
So, "stuff I watch from time to time..."
Dr Who.
Long time Who fan - I never hid behind the sofa though (Occasionally I'd shield my face with a cushion... like that would help if Cybermen were trying to take over the house... :-)) and currently I'm enjoying the new series...
Comedy Connections
I regularly decend on this and go "ooh, interesting.. I remember that... oooh well I never... well, well, well - you live and learn don't you" [particularly interesting is how the pythons are everywhere... except, of course, where they're not]
The Apprentice
Doh! Reality TV jumps up and bites me on the bum and says "go on, watch this". I'm not a big reality TV fan, but this is fairly interesting. Then again, I used to like the "Dragons Den" which was quite fun.
Those 50 best/worst list shows
I know, I shouldn't be watching, but there's something about them that I find interesting. If I'm channel hopping and there's one on, I'm pretty likely to watch.
And that's it. Occasional bursts of news [but, to be honest, mostly for the weather] , "one off" shows ("Mr Harvey lights a candle" was particularly enjoyable... ), occasional chat shows (Jonathon Ross in particular - love his band "4 poofs and a piano"), and random things that just defy turning over. At least, until the adverts. (which is where BBC wins over the commercial stations )
