Wisdom In A Cookie?

Today as my friend Rick and I finished lunch, we each ripped into our fortune cookie packets. What wisdom did our favorite Chinese Buffet impart on those tiny bits of paper?

Rick's: The eyes believe themselves; the ears believe other people. (Okay, that kinda has the David Carradine/Kung Fu philosophy sound to it.)

Mine: In God we trust; all others must pay cash. (Hmmmm...I'd say there was a cranky baker in fortune cookie land.)
