Animated short of the week. (Penguin calls)
A change from the usual music video I like. Some phone calls to a man with an... interesting... relationship with his mother.
I like 2 and 7. Your favourites?

Indeed. Interesting. Hmmmmm...
I enjoyed the the animation that accompanied the repeat caller. That little head movement was inspired.

I think 7's my favourite - It just seems... somehow... familier... [so do 2 and 1, come to think about it... ]
Now how come their answerphone gets interesting messages. Mine always seems to be filled with
1) "beeeeep" [i.e. no message left - often get home to find 5 or 6 of them]
2) "oh, hi, someone there entered a competition last year and I've been trying to get hold of them. They've won either £5000, tickets for [between 2 and 4] people for 2 weeks in Florida [Sometimes New York] but as the deadline's approaching, you'd better call our claims line on [some premium rate number]"
3)"Hi, it's mom, you're not there, I'll call back in half an hour"...
I rarely get important phone calls while I'm not there, although, to be honest - I rarely get them when I'm home either. It's mostly someone trying to get me to change my gas/electricity/phone company or subscribe to sky [satellite tv]

ah, you make me laugh :-) . No no... although she wouldn't [I'm English!] ... I tend to vote for the liberals : they seem to be the only party that have always (since I became politically aware) said "we can improve all these services, but you're going to have to give us more money to do so" - as opposed to the other parties that say "Yeah, we can improve them _and_ cut taxes"... then 3 months later "oops, we have to raise taxes... and those things... no... they're not improved" !!
