2004-2007 RIP
Hi everyone. I think its finally time for me to face facts and finally put this blog to rest. Its been a while since I wrote anything and my interest has clearly gone towards video making.
Whenever I make a video, I will usually put a sign "A billpg.me.uk production" on the end. However, if anyone does actually come and visit, they won't easily find all my photos, writings and other videos, but a badly organised mess of stuff.
According, I'll me making some changes to this site. I won't be deleting this blog, but I will be closing off new comments and filing everything away in its own section of the new site. This was a vibrant and active blog for a good two years and I feel its worth keeping.
I still plan to write occasionally, but it won't be in blogging form. The more deeper and researched articles I've written before will be collected together into a new section, but sorted by subject rather than date. I hope to continue to allow public comments, so long as I can find a management system that allows it and is reasonably secure.
I also plan to continue blogging, but I'll be starting afresh instead with a new site. I've not posted anything there yet but we'll see how long it lasts. This one will be more traditional form of blog. Quick links, reactions to news stories, announcements, etc.
I'd also like to personally thank everyone who has written articles for this site, including Thia and my old buddy "M", who can be found laughing at the stony face of gloom on a regular basis. At one point, I pictured taking this website as a massively edited blog with around 50 contributors. It never happened that way, but the idea was fun while it lasted.
Thanks are also due to the regular comment makers, including Gamma Goblin and Rori. Comments make publishing worthwhile.
Its been fun. Enjoy.
Bill.
