Attending Gay Pride

I'm pondering going to the Gay Pride event in London on the 30th of June.

Is this my subtle way of coming out? Alas, only as an obsessive Doctor Who fan.

I'm thinking of going because the organisers will be showing the final episode of the current series of Doctor Who on a giant screen during the event.

Of course, I could stay at home and watch it, but I like the idea of watching with a group of other fans. The same way that some people prefer to watch sporting events in the pub.

Anyway, this would be coming just a week after another big event in London I plan to attend. I wonder if I could take the driving.

  • Has this series been good? I've somehow missed the entire thing (and only caught about 3 episodes of the previous one) I really need to catch up on DVD...

As to Gay Pride... it's not just for Gays you know. I think you'll be fine if you tell them you're straight but "curious" ... when pressed you can pull your reporters notebook out of your white lab coat and start asking questions...

    :-)
I know what you mean though. I miss the uni days of belonging to the sci-fi society and being able to discuss the ramifications of the umpteenth time Picard abused the primary directive and how much better Riker looked with facial hair...

  • This series has been pretty good, much better than last years. Everything from 'Human Nature' has been bloody excellent. (IMO)
